Yat Yi is a law graduate from the University of Cambridge. She is currently completing the Postgraduate Certificates in Laws (“PCLL”) in the University of Hong Kong and will be joining the Hong Kong office of a city law firm in late August 2021.
Yat Yi traveled from Hong Kong to study abroad in Brighton at the age of 16. During her time in Brighton and Cambridge, she enjoyed taking part in voluntary teaching in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Nepal. She also has experience tutoring law students and in giving advice on job applications to law firms. She feels incredibly fortunate to have received extensive support from Brighton College with her university applications. She wishes to share those skills and experience with disadvantaged students, encourage them to apply to their dream university and to support them along the way. Yat Yi enjoyed rowing in her final year in university. She also enjoys running, playing water sports, tennis, as well as reading non-fictional books and painting.
