Amna Farooq

Amna is currently reading Human, Social & Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge. As the first person in her family to attend university in the UK, she acknowledges the difficulty present in the university application process for those who know little about the system. She is also aware of the socio-economic barriers found in the education system, particularly for minority ethnic communities. Being able to support others - who are in the same shoes in which she once was - is an immediate goal of Amna's that she's very determined to achieve!
